Applications

The general applications of intravascular Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) include imaging coronary artery segments before, during or at follow up after a percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) procedure. 

LightLab obtained approval in Europe and Asia for the first commercialized intravascular OCT imaging system in 2004. Since that introduction, published clinical studies and extensive clinical experience continue to expand the list of potential clinical applications for LightLab OCT.
