The LightLab C7-XR is the world’s only intravascular Frequency Domain OCT (FD-OCT™) imaging system and it utilizes the 7th generation of optical processors developed by LightLab engineers.
The C7-XR provides 10 times the resolution of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and makes image acquisition easy and fast. Because it is based on the latest optical imaging technology (FD-OCT), the C7-XR produces the Golden Image™ with far more detail than the basic “high definition” technologies. This gives cardiologists an important new tool to optimize treatment strategies for stent deployment, precise characterization of lesion morphometrics, and a myriad of other clinical applications.
The C7-XR is radiation-free*, requires no arterial occlusion, is fast and easy to use requiring only five seconds for image acquisition. The entire 50-plus mm imaging sequence is immediately available for review and analysis
