Safe, effective method for clearing the blood field during OCT imaging

The Helios high-compliance occlusion balloon catheter is custom designed to work with the ImageWire™ catheter to provide a safe method for displacing  blood from the imaging field.  The high compliance and low inflation pressure (nominal 0.3 – 0.5 ATM) of the soft Helios balloon allows artifact free imaging without clinically significant vessel distortion or wall trauma.
